Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers is an upcoming mixed martial arts event which is co-promoted by Strikeforce & M-1 Global, to be held on November 7, 2009 at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, IL. The event will air live on CBS.
It will be first MMA event on network television since the now-defunct EliteXC promotion broadcast its final event, EliteXC: Heat, on CBS on October 4, 2008. The event will have a four-fight main card with a broadcasting team of Gus Johnson, Frank Shamrock and Mauro Ranallo.

* Heavyweight bout: Brazil Fabricio Werdum vs. Brazil Antonio Silva

Notes
Gegard Mousasi was originally slated to defend his Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Championship, but will now compete in a non-title bout.
A previously announced bout between Bobby Lashley and Ron Waterman has been moved to a later date.
A women's bout between Marloes Coenen and Erin Toughill was set to serve as a reserve fight, but was cancelled when Toughill withdrew due to an undisclosed medical condition. Roxanne Modafferi will step up against Coenen on this show.

The main card is seriously good (although the Mousasi fight should be for the belt), but the prelims are underwhelming - Curran's is the only name that really jumps out at me. Still, what a main

I find that apart from the main, main event, the Jake Shields vs. Jason Miller fight will be very interesting!
After all mayhem Miller has won all of his last fights pretty easily so it will be nice to see him face some real competition.

I wonder if this will be the first real loss for Fedor. Tell you the truth, I was a huge Fedor fan up until this UFC deal fell through. I hope he gets his ass kicked by Brett. Screw M1 and their co-promotion garbage. Ya, UFC needs your co-promotion...stupid.

Fedor should team up with Mayweather and fight only less skilled opponents so that they dont risk loosing and can make more millions and ruining their legacy.
Who will remember anything else about fedor in 10 years then that was the guy that turned down UFC?
