The Strikeforce “Challengers 19” main event will move forward as planned, as both Lorenz Larkin and Nick Rossborough hit their contracted weights at Thursday’s weigh-ins.
Both Larkin and Rossborough weighed in at 206 pounds for their light heavyweight main event. Challengers 19 goes down Friday from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and airs on Showtime at 11 p.m. ET, delayed on the west coast.
In addition to the headlining attraction, the card will also feature appearances by heavyweight Lavar Johnson (245) and lightweight Ryan Couture (156), as the two lock horns with Shawn Jordan (238) and Maka Watson (155), respectively.
Also showcased will be potential welterweight contender Jason High (170.5), as “The Kansas City Bandit” looks to extend his five-fight winning streak against Todd Moore (169). Rounding out the main draw will be another welterweight attraction between Brian Melancon (170) and Felipe Portela (170.5).
