We want to know who is the best fighter and the best style in the world, not who might have could fought who but never did.

I envision a future where each country or region has its own mayor promotion/league/events following an internationally established ruleset, where champions automatically progress to a larger stage like that specific regions UFC roster, but in each region separately.

It could start on a national level, move from there to a regional level and finally international.

From the regional you move finally to international UFC. Once you are the UFC champion of your region you will fight the champions of other regions. So the numbered events will basically only be champions vs. champions.

So UFC Fight Nights can be regional shows with fighters from specific regions that fight while the numbered events can be UFC International with regional champions fighting for the international "World" championship.

Its basically how it works right now, but with the difference that instead of being different promotions counter acting each-other it will be an international organ like FIFA or whatever. But without the FIFA corruption of course.

All smaller existing promotions like PFL, LFA, ONE, BRAVE, ACA, KSW, EFC and RIZIN (sorry if I didnt mention all, its just a lot) etc. will all be swallowed up and integrated by the mayor international organization.

Fans are less interested in watching a thousands of different small weird events from promotions with or without production or broadcast events that are fought under different rules where champions cant fight because of ridiculous contractual issues.

The solution would be to make it one single international organization.

It might sound impossible right now, but I think its the only logical organic way for fight sport to survive in the long run and that it will happen no matter if we like it or not.
