The lineup for Saturday's "DREAM.17: World Bantamweight GP" event has been finalized with 11 bouts.
In addition to the opening round of the world bantamweight grand prix, DREAM.17 features a non-title lightweight headliner between DREAM champion Shinya Aoki (28-5 MMA, 12-2 DREAM) and former WEC titleholder Rob McCullough (19-7 MMA, 0-0 DREAM).
DREAM.17 takes place at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. HDNet airs the event live in the U.S. early Saturday morning at 3 a.m. ET (midnight PT).
As a change to the promotion's usual rules, Saturday's fights feature the standard North American format of three, five-minute rounds, as opposed to one 10-minute round followed by a second five-minute round. All future events will include the new format.
In addition to Aoki's non-title fight, other notables such as Joachim Hansen, Tatsuya Kawajiri, Caol Uno, Kazushi Sakuraba, Gerald Harris and Ikuhisa "Minowaman" Minowa also are in action.
