The first KSW gala in France is fast approaching. This will be the ninth foreign event prepared by the KSW organization.
The history of foreign KSW galas began over eight years ago. The debut foreign KSW gala took place on October 31, 2015 in London. Two years later, KSW set out to conquer another country. The KSW 40 gala was organized on October 22, 2017 in Dublin. The success of the first gala in London meant that in October 2018, the KSW organization decided to return to the capital of England, and in September 2019, the Polish brand again visited the Wembley Arena in London. After the third gala on the Thames, it was time to enter the new country. The organization's eyes turned to the Balkans. The KSW 51 gala took place on November 9, 2019 in Croatia, at the Zagreb Arena. After the gala in Zagreb, there was a break in subsequent foreign KSW events due to the pandemic.
Finally, in 2023, the organization decided to conquer new markets and enter another country. On February 25 of the above-mentioned year, the KSW 79 gala took place in Liberec, at the Home Credit Arena. It was the first event organized in the Czech Republic. Eight months after its debut abroad, the Polish brand appeared again in the Czech Republic, this time in Třinec, in the Werk Arena hall. After two successful events, the KSW organization decided to return to Liberec and organized the KSW 91 gala there at the beginning of 2024.
Now the KSW brand is getting ready for the next challenge. On April 6, he will bring his event to France for the first time in history. The XTB KSW 93 gala will take place in Paris, at the Adidas Arena. During the debut event of KSW on the Loire, fans will see the phenomenal champion of the lightweight and featherweight categories, Salahdine Parnasse, in the round cage.
– I must admit that France is very excited that the KSW organization will appear there – says Salahdine Parnasse. – It's also exciting for me, because for the first time in a long time I will be fighting at home, in France. This is a great event for me. Everyone is aware that we are coming to France as KSW and we are really looking forward to it.
The champion's rival will be Valeriu Mircea, who won the interim lightweight championship belt in a duel with Leo Brichta on February 17 during the KSW 91 gala. Even before this fight, the popular "Lone Wolf" said:
– Brichta is another opponent I have to defeat to move on to Parnasse. You all know that I am an athlete with character who never backs down.
As he announced, he did so and now he will have a chance to fight Salahdine Parnasse.
In the second fight of the evening of the gala in Paris, Marian Ziółkowski, the former lightweight champion and currently number two in the ranking in this category, will return to the round cage. His rival will be Wilson Varela, a Frenchman with a background in kickboxing. Fans will see many other fighters from France on the fight card of the gala at the Adidas Arena.
