UFC purchases Bellator! MMAJunkie.com () has just recieved a direct press announcement from the UFC/Zuffa office with the details of the purchase and complete takeover of Bellator Inc. and all it's fighters.
The current CEO Bjorn Rebney will get a similar role as Scott Coker in Strikeforce. He will stay on as manager for the sub division and everything will function "as usual" Dana White comments in his interview on mmafighting.com with Ariel Helwani, who was the one that broke these news as well as the last purchase of Strikeforce.
Some rumours say Ariel Helwani is now actually working for UFC directly since AOL was part owners of Bellator, AOL was his former employers but now he works directly under Zuffa.
Zuffa further promises to "honour every contract" made with the former Bellator fighters, that now all are a part of Zuffa/UFC's ever growing stable.
No official statement has been made by neither Dana White or the Fertittas that are known to be away on bearhunting in Colorado for the rest of the month. The MMA related press will be waiting impatiently for their return and their comments about completely dominating the american MMA market.
