DREAM.16 is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by Fighting and Entertainment Group's mixed martial arts promotion DREAM. The event is scheduled to take place on September 25, 2010 in Nagoya, Japan. The event is expected to air live in North America on HDNet.

* Heavyweight bout: Japan Yusuke Kawaguchi vs. England James Thompson
* Featherweight bout: Japan Mitsuhiro Ishida vs. Japan Akiyo Nishiura
* Featherweight bout:Japan Kazuyuki Miyata vs. Japan Takeshi Inoue
* Featherweight bout: Japan Hideo Tokoro vs. Norway Joachim Hansen[
* Featherweight bout: Japan Michihiro Omigawa vs. United States Cole Escovedo
* Featherweight bout: Japan Hiroyuki Takaya vs. United States Chase Beebe
* Openweight bout: Japan Ikuhisa Minowa vs. Japan Satoshi Ishii
* Lightweight bout: Japan Shinya Aoki vs. Brazil Marcus Aurelio
* Middleweight bout: Japan Kazushi Sakuraba vs. United States Jason Miller
* Light Heavyweight Championship bout: Armenia Gegard Mousasi vs. Japan Tatsuya Mizuno
BackgroundThis event will serve as the final for DREAM's Light Heavyweight Grand Prix and is expected to crown the first DREAM Light Heavyweight Champion. Gegard Mousasi and Tatsuya Mizuno who won their bouts at DREAM 15 are expected to fight for the title. It will appear the same day as UFC 119.
A previously announced featherweight bout with Joe Warren fighting Michihiro Omigawa has been scrapped from this card.
Ikuhisa Minowa was previously reported to be fighting James Thompson, but will now fight Judo Olympic Gold Medalist Satoshi Ishii.[5] Thompson's opponent is now DEEP veteran Yusuke Kawaguchi.Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dream.16

Must suck not knowing your opponent until weeks before the fight seems to be the case with alot of dream events they get the fighters signed to fight before they even have opponents.
