This is a great tutorial. The video makes it look really easy. Maybe I could even do it.

Im having the hardest time uploading. Ive had several request to put something up and I follow the tut but always get the "UPLOAD FAILED- 'Torrent already uploaded.' what gives? |

I recently uploaded a torrent and added my passkey but it lists as having 0 seeders. It's in my uTorrent list but not being downloaded. What did I do wrong? Hello roundfull! After you have uploaded a torrent you need to add passkey in utorrent. This can be made in different ways, but the easiest is this: Go to the torrent you have uploaded. Click download. Now either: 1. If your browser asks you what to do with the file, open it with a program or save it to your hdd, choose open with utorrent. When you do this utorrent should ask something like "The torrent you have added is already in your list, do you want to add trackers to it?" Answer Yes. It should turn green in utorrent and start to seed. Or: 2. If your browser saves the file to your hdd directly without asking if to open it or where to save it, go to the location where it was downloaded. Doubleclick it. When you do this utorrent should ask something like "The torrent you have added is already in your list, do you want to add trackers to it?" Answer Yes. After you have added the trackers the torrent should turn green in your browser and start to seed. If none of the above works: 3. Another alternative is to take any other torrent that you have downloaded from mma-torrents.com in your utorrent client rightclick it and choose 'Properties'. Copy the tracker with your passkey ( like: ). Then again in utorrent rightclick the torrent that you uploaded and choose 'Properties'. Then paste in your tracker with passkey and save. Done! If you have some files that you would like to upload, and you dont know how to rip them or make them a torrent. Just put the files in a folder and make a torrent of that folder instead following the instructions in the first post. Then upload it as it is. That way people can download what you have exactly and if needed someone else can make a rip of the files if that is necessary. |
