I remember the OLD UFC Brazil and UFC Japan. They have recently gone back to Rio. I remember talk of also revisiting the land of the rising sun (one of my FAVORITE travel destinations outside Thailand). Anyone know any details..? I would plan a trip around watching a UFC event in Nippon!!

Yeah they did plan a show in Japan but until it's confirmed we can only speculate.
They planned originally to do a double header with one show in Vegas and then the one in Japan but those plans seems to have fallen off.
But it seems that this might happen with
