GSP GSP GSP... yeah what can I say, a very good event with a little of everything.
I was impressed by:
Koscheck actually, he stood and banged with GSP with one eye only, and didnt look like a fool.
GSP, he is amazing, actually really nice to see him stand up for 5 rounds and pull off a classy win!
Struve, man what a nice turnaround, he has such an incredible potential. I am looking forward to see him improve his takedown defence, even if it didnt look like he needed it lol.
Alves, my god he looked like a man with a mission. I loved his style, really really nice win!
All the winners of last nights fights where awesome performances, Danzig, Miller etc very high level of exitement.
Amazing audience! I think next UFC event I would attend would be GSP's next fight in Canada. The Canadian fans are awesome! Little unecesarry to boo Josh after loosing but there was still a really great atmosphere in the arena.
I havnt watched prelimns yet but for what Ive seen so far I give this event a 5/5 for being overall consistant and exiting, and the great audience.

This was a great event. You almost had to put Joe and Goldie in a sound booth just so we could hear them over the crowd half the time. I can only imagine what it was like live.
The fights were great, too. Very high caliber talent.
GSP/Kos: Went pretty much how I expected for a change. I've never hated Kos because I know he's just "playing the game" and he rarely means anything he says for a fight. His antics were getting a bit annoying, though.
I was impressed with McCorkle. I honestly thought he was going to get mauled in no time flat. He's got a good ground game, but he sorely needs a boxing coach.
Jim Miller: Boo-Ya! =)
TJ Grant has got massive guard defense. MASSIVE. Almeida looked like the Almeida of many years ago, but he still lacks finishing aggression.
I assumed Alves would win, but wow...
Be on the lookout for Makdessi. He's gonna huff and puff and blow yer house down.

Bocek's transition from the full mount to the submission of Hazelett was so slick it made me cry...
I'm not sure calling out Sotiropolous is a great idea but he's looked really good in his UFC wins.

ufc 124 was crazy... i couldnt believe the main card results... i picked wrong for every main card fight except for gsp v kos...  i didnt do so bad on the prelims... but 5 right/6 wrong is pretty bad... =\ all in all a good event though... gsp looked great... but im a little annoyed he didnt finish kos... i understand its not always possible... but 5 fights in a row by decision is just boring... people will say what about bj penn... that was corner stoppage... technically gsp didnt finish him... he just fucked him up so much that bj didnt want to fight anymore... im hoping him and jake shields will be better...

Surprised no one's mentioned how insane Matt Riddle is. I picked him to win in the third and he could have easily if he hadn't forgotten that he's a wrestler. It's extremely disappointing to see a guy abandon his skills and mindlessly run forward throwing 1-2's. Seriously, was Billy Blanks in this guy's corner? It was funny because I said "Jesus this guy looks like he's shadowboxing" moments before Rogan said it. Of the picks I got wrong this was the most frustrating by far.

I got 2 fights right....  Was a good card and GSP smashed kos in the face so many times i lost count. What a knockout..Joe daddy got knocked the fuck out...  All the fights on here where good apart from one of the prelims where they nullified each other with skills. Rogan killed it on one fight he said :its like watching two lizards fight" what a fight it was high paced transition for transition was like a video game. Never understand why people moan about cards.. we only get to see so many UFCs in our lifetime should embrace them all.
