If you pay attention to the small details in life, chances are you noticed the clip at the end of last night's premiere of The Ultimate Fighter 12 that showed a brief glimpse of Josh Koscheck being his endearing self as he appears to grab a Team St-Pierre member by the throat before a scuffle ensues.

Middleeasy made a slowed-down gif of the video above and it turns out that the dude Kos rape chokes is either a somewhat rotund crew member or a random guy who wandered in off the street wearing a TapouT shirt in GSP's team colors. Whatever the case is, it's likely just another instance of a set-up scenario or creative editing to make JK look like the bad guy. It all seems very "WWE" to me. He nearly crack a smile as he confront the Biz Markie lookalike who likely hasn't been a lightweight since junior high.

Team St-Pierre's Dane Sayers seems to get the worst of the situation as he gets face-palmed by Koscheck while trying to diffuse the situation.

So if fighters get kicked off the show for fighting each other, what do they get for fighting a coach who bitch slaps him?

1st I don't think thats a fighter, he doesn't look like he'll be able to make 155 .
Guess it's one of GSPs coaches.

2nd, I bet it's not going to happen in the next episode, those seemed to be whole season highlights, to keep us interested, it won't supprise me if it actually means nothing and will be shown in one of the last episodes.. and then we'll all say, oww thats all, that wasn't so bad .

the first episode was fun though
but that bruce lee roy kid or whatever didn't seem very skillfull, guess he's just on the show because spike wanted him, well I gotta admit he seems funny. we all like laughing people, although it doesn't seem like he will keep laughing all 6 weeks .

the younger the guys the tougher they think they are,LOL...

but i love that, thats why everyone wanted to be on koscheks team, mostly big talk no action. ok little action...

the guy works as a nurse on the show or something. that Koscheck guy is a low piece of scum he is just trying to act like a tuff guy and push people around. he has the mentality of a 9 year old school yard bully. since i been watching this season of TUF its made me see what a real dick he really is. one of the biggest losers i ever seen in my life.

if he had grab me around the neck i woulda stuck my thumbs so deep in his eyes to blind the bastard and wrecked his fight career forever. thats what a jerk like koscheck deserves.

One of my teammates (Kyle Watson) is on the show. He says the guy (whose name I can't recall right this second...) is portrayed as a medic/nurse, but the guys on GSPs team really never knew what his role was other than sort of stirring things up. When they'd sort of ask, the response was like "You'll find out later." If I remember correctly, he said he thought the guy was a Vegas local. Kyle writes a blog and has discussed it there, as well. Barry, maybe? Sorry, my memory fades in and out, but I'm kind of thinking Barry Tate was his name. If I can find his blog, I'll post a link.
