They could never afford or get the same advertisement if they tried ever so hard. They should be happy. Noone buys an UFC event first time. Normally you look at clips and streams until you get hooked, and then suddenly after a couple of months you are standing there with an UFC ticket in your hand and $ 200 less in your pocket... Dont they know this or are they really that ignorant? Where would UFC and MMA be if it wasnt for the online community? |

How is people gonna afford to pay $45 every 2-3 weeks man? Cmon? The free-watchers and streamers would never buy a PPV anyway... Even if they wen't to jail and came out... |

Legally and ethically White and Zuffa are absolutely right. They are doing what any business would do to protect their brand. All of the excuses for pirating copyrighted material aren't worth a spit bucket when court is in session. Theft is theft and those who participate in online activities know that. Having said that, I am pleading addiction. For me, it started with the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. I Tivo'd every e pisode on Finale night and stayed up all night watching them. I started spending hundreds of dollars every month on Pay per views. From there I went on to heaver stuff like Pride, Affliction, Strikefoce. Pretty soon I was cruising the seedier side of net-town looking for anything that might promise a cheap triangle or uma plata. Maybe they can find a treatment program for me. Let's treat mma addiction with compassion not mean spiritedness. Remember, it's a sickness, not a crime...........ok, well it is a crime but it's a sort of a sickness-crime..kinda thing. ![]() |
