Probably the most uneventful TUF finale I've seen in a long time. Glad to see Kimbo is getting himself a ground game. Other than that, all fights pretty average.

Nice KO by Nelson I think Kimbo lost. Houston won 1st and 3rd round. The legkicks seem to be scored to low on the judges card. Nice to see Edgar win. He is becoming one of my favourites. I guess we have seen big baby in the UFC for the 1st and last time. BTW.... Its pretty cool that we will se Chuck vs Tito in the next season. |

I kept thinking if this were an event like Dream, the ref would have given Houston a yellow card for running away like a puss and not fighting. Think Kimbo won as he was willing to fight Houston was not, which is unusual in itself. |

In my opinion one of the most entertaining TUF finales I have seen. I was on my toes first two rounds of the Kimbo fight, was impressed of how collected and calm he was and of his groundgame. I loved almost all the fights, really enjoyed the event! I am pleased that Roy Nelson won, specially considering he is a "kung fu" fighter lol, I love kung fu, not that I ever saw him use any but still its in the backbone  Cant say I was impressed with next season coaches. I actually dont feel like watching Chuck and Tito at all. So many other good fighters that could have been so much more interesting. But I guess Dana is doing his old friend Chuck a favour. I dont understand who the hell wanna see Chuck vs Tito 3, in my opinion the most uninteresting matchup I have heard in a looooong time. So the winner gets what? To retire? Looser dont get pension or whats the deal  Dana seemed completely uninterested too, didnt even know the weightclass of next season. I can only hope that there will be some interesting fighters in the house to make up for extremely boring coaches. |

I liked the event. Kimbo was really good and that fight is what most people wanted to see. This TUF season has brought new batch of heavyweights and it's really refreshing. I don't like Meathead but this win has secured him further fight or two. McSweeney has showed that he is really attractive fighter and that's why I hope he will do OK in the future. I hope we'll see more of Marcus Jones as I really like the guy. Tito and Chuck are kind of pop-culture icons of UFC and they will for sure attract casual viewers to the show and their fight and to be realistic UFC isn't making money off us but off casual viewers. Money is earned on PPV and merchandise prior and after hyped show. I still think that average Joe won't know who is Anderson Silva compared to Chuck or Titp, even if they both have 5 losses streak. And Goldie with that freedom and Afghanistan lines was ridiculous. |
