I was happily suprised by the stats, almost a million viewers, and the fighters make almost as much money as in the ufc, in fact if these fighters were to go to the UFC they won't make as much money as they do now, because they'll become more mid range attractions.
The commentating of Shamrock is not that great indeed; I was like when he talked about Walker probably having seen the figure 4/kimura once or twice, but probably didn't have any experience with it as it was a pretty advanced move. are you kidding me that comes out of the mouth of just recently retired professional MMA fighter? listening to the nickname of 'the legend'?. And his memorized pre event studied talks about the fights and fighters are terrible to listen to, come on, do you mean what you are saying, then say it how you want to say it, don't try to make it poetry, and lay the accents on the wrong parts of the senteces and words. he seems like a nice guy from what I saw of him in fighting words, so he probably should try something else to do .
Pat is nice though and Mauro asn't that bad either.
