Former champ Brock Lesnar has shunned a Trilogy fight with nemesis Frank Mur (mir) instead he has called out the heavy weight mullet that is Roy Nelson.
Nelson was pulled from the 125 card after Carwin was forced from participation with a back injury that required surgery. This news with Lesnar was reported via F4wonline wrestling show by Brian Alverez, Nelson appeared on mma live to say he would take the fight, its a good challenge for both but with Brock on a medical suspension for 6 months this clash wont take place till mid 2011.

wsup jrpepaseed  I am a little confused in this matter, read about it and watched MMA live etc. My problem is this: Since when does the fighters in UFC decide who they are going to fight? In my experience Dana White has basicly said that he dont give a (expletative) about what their trainers think is the best matchup or who the fighter thinks would be best for his career. I think we will have to wait and see what Joe Silva wants, or is Brock an exception from the rule and can handpick his opponents?

I think it might be a rumor that was started by Nelson. But I don't take what most fighters say seriously anyways. I guess we'll just see.

Most fans wants Brock Lesnar vs Mirr III but UFC President Dana White might go for Lesnar vs Velasquez II. This was the latest news and some fans are shocked. Well, I guess the boss will just go for his own decision, but don't understand why he would go for Velasquez, if he would earn more on Pay Per View if he chose Lesnar and Mirr III.

I doubt they do Cain vs Lesnar II. Dana already said Cain is going to fight JDS next for the title. Lesnar vs Mir III makes sense. Mir is trying to get back to a title fight and Brock needs a win to stay at the top. I rather see Lesnar vs Carwin II but who knows how long Carwin will be out for.

Yes, I like to see Lesner and Carwin II also. It seems Lesner has lost his touch already for loosing some of his fights. I thought before when he just entered MMA and beaten most of the guys will be unbeatable and looks dangerous. I hope he will take a win again to get back on top.
