I thought I had 8/10 because I thought the Mitchell vs Lim fight didn't count as it didn't happen. I picked Mitchell knowing the fight was cancelled… Of course one can argue a draw is a better pick but it isn't the right one either : the fight didn't happen! I think picks for cancelled fights shouldn't count at all as fights can be cancelled after the picks are submitted. Anyway, congratulations to the winners

Canceled fights are ruled as a draw in the competition, which makes nobody have that right so to say as you never choose draw when you pick the winners..

Prizes will be as follows

* 9 correct picks = 30 GB + 1 Invite
* 8 correct picks = 20 GB

here is the way i saw things...
anyone who did some research should know the fight had been cancelled before weigh-ins (24hrs+ before fights)...
anyone who read the rules should realise that since the fight isnt happening it will be ruled a draw for competition purposes...
anyone with common sense should have scored themselves a free point...
and anyone who submitted their picks really early learned a valuable lesson!
i think i covered all the bases yeah...?


feichar: by the time the fight was cancelled people had already put in picks so i couldnt remove the fight... therefore it had to be a draw!


yellopanda: there have been a few times lately where we have had to use draw for cancelled fights and no contests...
this is why we added the extra rule which roughly says... if there is no winner, its a draw! for example...

* Lightweight bout: United States Jeremy Stephens vs The Bahamas Yves Edwards ---> FIGHT CANCELLED = DRAW!

* Light Heavyweight bout: United States Phil Davis vs Brazil Wagner Prado
---> THIS FIGHT WAS RULED A NO CONTEST THEREFORE ONLY PEOPLE WHO CHOSE DRAW (IE. NOBODY) GOT THIS RIGHT!


but i only make the comps and results... its up to the prize giver to make a final call on who gets what...
