Hello
New member to the site, which looks great.
Im having problems downloading. I cant seem to download any torrents despite torrents from other sites working with no issue. I load the torrent into utorrent and it just sits at the "finding peers" status forever.
Im using Windows 7 and uTorrent 3.6 build 47196
I tried to download the suggested uTorrent 2.2.1 but when i try to install it i keep getting a "uTorrent has crashed. A crash dump has been saved" message.
Im also logged onto NordVPN as some of the other sites i use are blocked by my isp. I dont know if this makes a difference.
Any help is appreciated

Try another torrent client, maybe qbitorrent and see if it works better.
There are a lot of other posts asking same thing in this support forum, so maybe try to see what others did to resolve their issues.

most people seemed to get it fixed by getting uTorrent 2.2.1 but i cant seem to get it. I tried transmission but that doesnt seem to work either??
Qbittorrent doesnt appear to be available for Windows 7.
Is there any other clients you recommend?

You could try installing it anyway as it often works, or an older version. https://sourceforge.net/projects/qbitto ... ent-win32/Maybe one that is released around the time Windows 7 was still generally used. Or any other torrent client. Also, try without the VPN to see if it causes the issue. If it does, contact NordVPN and ask them to resolve it.

an older version of qbittorrent works well!
Thanks so much for your help. (VPN was not an issue incase you were wondering)
