Bellator Fighting Championships: Season Six is the upcoming sixth installment of the Bellator Fighting Championships, which will begin on March 2, 2012. The Mixed martial arts tournaments will be held in five weight classes, including the bantamweight, featherweight, lightweight, welterweight and middleweight divisions. Bellator LX is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by Bellator Fighting Championships. It is scheduled to take place on March 9, 2012 at The Venue at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana. The event will be distributed live in prime time by MTV2. Official Fight Card Main Card Featherweight Championship bout: United States Joe Warren (c) vs. United States Pat Curran Featherweight Quarterfinal bout: Brazil Marlon Sandro vs. United States Roberto Vargas Featherweight Quarterfinal bout: England Ronnie Mann vs. United States Mike Corey Featherweight Quarterfinal bout: Brazil Alexandre Bezerra vs. Brazil Genair da Silva Featherweight Quarterfinal bout: United States Daniel Straus vs. United States Jeremy Spoon Local Feature Fights Bantamweight bout: United States Cory Galloway vs. United States Jake Nauracy Catchweight (215 lbs) bout: United States Travis Wiuff vs. Anthony Gomez Catchweight (280 lbs) bout: United States Sean McCorkle vs. United States Richard White Catchweight (165 lbs) bout: United States Shamar Bailey vs. United States Josh Shockley Featherweight bout: United States Kenny Foster vs. United States Bobby Reardanz Background Bellator 60 was expected to take place on March 2, but the season opener was pushed back one week. Wagnney Fabiano was originally scheduled to face Ronnie Mann in the opening round of the Featherweight tournament. However, on March 1, 2012, Fabiano pulled out of the bout and was replaced by Mike Corey. With Genair Da Silva not making weight, Bellator confirmed via Twitter that Kenny Foster is taking his place and will now have Alexandre Bezerra.
