The event will take place on January 7, 2012 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Official fight card Main card (Showtime) Middleweight Championship bout: United States Luke Rockhold (c) vs. United States Keith Jardine Middleweight bout: United States Robbie Lawler vs. Russia Adlan Amagov Light Heavyweight bout: United States Muhammed Lawal vs. United States Lorenz Larkin Welterweight bout: United States Tyron Woodley vs. Canada Jordan Mein Welterweight bout: Belgium Tarec Saffiedine vs. United States Tyler Stinson Preliminary card (Showtime Extreme) Welterweight bout: United States Nah-Shon Burrell vs. United States James Terry Light Heavyweight bout: United States Trevor Smith vs. United States Gian Villante Lightweight bout: United States Ricky Legere vs. United States Chris Spang Background Luke Rockhold was expected to fight Tim Kennedy, though an injury left Kennedy unable to compete at this event. Miesha Tate was expected to defend her Women's Bantamweight Championship against Sarah Kaufman on this card, but the bout never materialized. Bobby Green was originally scheduled to face Alonzo Martinez, but had to withdraw due to an injury.
