Bellator LIV is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by Bellator Fighting Championships. The event is scheduled to take place on October 15, 2011 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event will be distributed live in prime time by MTV2. Official Fight Card Main Card Middleweight Semifinal bout: Russia Alexander Shlemenko vs. United States Brian Rogers Middleweight Semifinal bout: United States Bryan Baker vs. Brazil Vitor Vianna Bantamweight bout: United States Zach Makovsky vs. United States Ryan Roberts Featherweight bout: United States Jacob Kirwan vs. United States Rene Nazare Local Feature Fights Light Heavyweight bout: Brazil Daniel Gracie vs. United States Duane Bastress Light Heavyweight bout: United States Tim Carpenter vs. United States Ryan Contaldi Middleweight bout: France Karl Amoussou vs. United States Joey Kirwan Women's 155 lb bout: United States Andria Caplan vs. United States Adrienne Seiber Bantamweight bout: United States Brian Kelleher vs. United States Claudio Ledesma Background Bellator bantamweight champion, Zach Makovsky, will compete in a non-title bout at this event. He is expected to face one-time UFC veteran Ryan Roberts. This event will host the second round of the Bellator Season 5 Middleweight Tournament. Eddie Alvarez was scheduled to make his second title defense of his lightweight championship against Michael Chandler on this card. However, on September 20th, it was announced that Alvarez suffered an injury and the match has been delayed until a later date. oct 7 - added official poster |
