After a polemical ‘no contest’ against Nik Lentz, Brazilian lightweight Charles “do Bronx’s” Oliveira is expected to return to the UFC cage at November 19th, against fellow submission specialist Joe Lauzon. According to Oliveira’s trainer, the bout is expected to take place at UFC 138. “They spoke about a possible rematch (against Nik Lentz), but he’ll have to go under surgery, so the opponent might be Joe Lauzon”, Ericson Cardozo told TATAME Tuesday night. A The Ultimate Fighter season 5 contestant, Lauzon is coming from a submission victory over Curt Warburton, a kimura which gave him the ‘submission of the night’ bonus. At the same night, Oliveira tapped Lentz with a rear naked choke, but the win was overturned to a ‘no contest’ due to an illegal knee seconds before the tap.
