Bellator XLI is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by Bellator Fighting Championships on April 16, 2011 at Cocopah Resort and Casino in Yuma, Arizona.[1] The card is expected to feature fights in one or more divisions in the Bellator Season Four Tournament. The event will be distributed live in prime time by MTV2.. Main Card * Catchweight (137 lbs) bout: United States Joe Warren vs. Brazil Marcos Galvao * Bantamweight bout: United States Zach Makovsky vs. United States Chad Robichaux * Featherweight Semifinal bout: United States Daniel Straus vs. United States Kenny Foster * Featherweight Semifinal bout: Brazil Wilson Reis vs. Brazil Patricio Freire Local Feature Fights * Heavyweight bout: United States Rudy Aguilar vs. United States Carlos Flores * Bantamweight bout: United States Anthony Birchak vs. United States Tyler Bialecki * Featherweight bout: United States Michael Parker vs. United States Nick Piedmont * Middleweight bout: United States Brendan Tierney vs. United States Dano Moore Background Bellator's Bantamweight Champion Zach Makovsky will fight in a non-title bout against Chad Robichaux. Also, Bellator's Featherweight Champion Joe Warren will fight in a non-title bout against Marcos Galvao. Tony Johnson Jr. was expected to fight Carlos Flores at the event, but now has been replaced with Rudy Aguilar. |
