IMO, this is total B$ and only hurts the sport in the end. There was a time, not too long ago, when these mergers were declared monopolies and dealt with as such. I challenge anyone to show me an org that the UFC has acquired that haven't been dissolved within a year. And even if they keep StrikeFarce around, they will never let it reach the success of UFC and will treat it like the minor league. |

yeah right this is total bs is there's even a slight hint of truth to this i'll be shocked whats next ufc buys any org that they feel could threaten them in the future ufc buying other mma orgs like there walmarts i guess women fighters are now in the ufc or cough cough zuffa(sorry dana) |

I think this is great news! I love having all the top talent under one roof. Nobody complains that the NFL has all the best football players. Strikeforce, and all the other promotions for that matter, are the minor leagues anyways. |

The question I have is what are the guys that don't want to be in the UFC going to do? Overeem wont be able to do K-1 in UFC, Barrent talked a lot of shit about Dana White, Dan Henderson that didn't like the way he was treated there. I guess they'll have to go to Dream in Japan or something. |

Cant wait to see how this plays out.... as soon as shotime contract is honoured operation WEC 2 takes place best fighters kept others tossed to the cold...Big news with Dream n SRC going broke to. Daley what a twat..if he was a triplet he would be the one left sucking his thumb . |

Good interview ith Dana here that answers a fair few preliminary questions.... things will change over time no doubt, (eg Im sure than in a few years when there is a sufficient quantity of high quality women fighters, then we'll see a womens division in the UFC), but for now, looks like in Danas words 'business as usual' http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/blog/cagewr ... =mma-wp105 |
