Bellator XXXI is an upcoming mixed martial arts event held by Bellator Fighting Championships. The event will take place on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at L'Auberge du Lac Resort in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The card will feature tournament fights in Bellator's third season. The event will be distributed live in prime time by FOX Sports Net and its regional sports network affiliates. Fight Card Main Card * Women's (115 lbs.) Semi-Final bout: United States Jessica Aguilar vs. United States Zoila Frausto * Women's (115 lbs.) Semi-Final bout: Japan Megumi Fujii vs. United States Lisa Ward * Welterweight bout: Japan Yoshiyuki Yoshida vs. United States Chris Lozano Local Feature Fights * Heavyweight bout: United States Mark Holata vs United States Shawn Jordan * Lightweight bout: United States John Harris vs United States Kyle Miers * Middleweight bout: United States Tim Ruberg vs United States Aaron Davis * Heavyweight bout: United States Dave Herman vs Poland Michał Kita * Lightweight bout: United States Scott Stapp vs United States Mike Chandler Background A previously announced fight between Ricco Rodriguez and Dave Herman, has been scrapped from this card due to Rodriguez suffering a knee injury. Michal Kita will step in, and serve as Rodriguez's replacement. |
