Bellator 15 official for April 22 in Connecticut, tickets now on sale http://mmajunkie.com/news/18370/bellato ... n-sale.mma As expected Bellator Fighting Championships will makes it return to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., for its upcoming-season two Bellator 15 event on April 22. Tickets for the event, which airs on FOX Sports Net, are now on sale at Ticketmaster.com. MMAjunkie.com passed along news of the event location earlier this week in a story about season-one runner-up Toby Imada meeting Ferrid Kheder in an opening-round season-two lightweight tournament fight at the event. In addition to that as-of-yet-announced fight, Bellator 15 features three official opening-round matchups for the organization's welterweight tournament: Dan Hornbuckle vs. Sean Pierson, Jacob McClintock vs. Jim Wallhead, and Steve Carl vs. Brett Cooper. The Mohegan Sun hosted two shows from Bellator's first season in 2009. "We are extremely excited to bring Bellator Fighting Championships back to Mohegan Sun Arena," stated Bob Yalen, director of sports and entertainment at the Mohegan Sun. "The events last year were a big success, and we are thrilled to continue the partnership in 2010. Bellator always puts together fantastic cards, so MMA fans can expect some fierce battles here in Uncasville come April 22." Tickets for Bellator 15 range from just $30 to $60. |
