Controversial Shinya Aoki vs. Mizuto Hirota fight prompts WVR condemnation A full week after the event, the MMA world is still buzzing about a controversial fight between Shinya Aoki and Mizuto Hirota that took place at the Dec. 31 "Dynamite!! 2009" event in Japan. In fact, World Victory Road officials today requested that DREAM representatives punish Aoki and condemned his actions at the fight. The bout took place at the Dec. 31 "Dynamite!! 2009" event, which was co-promoted by the two promotions.
